Michelle has nineteen years of experience in the mental health field and is known for her warm, relaxed, and collaborative approach. She works with children, adolescents and adults experiencing a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, attachment wounds, parenting, substance use, and trauma-related difficulties.
Michelle completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph and her Master of Social Work at the University of Windsor. She has worked in residential treatment, shelters, community mental health, and the school board.
Michelle is a Certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-In-Training with advanced education in trauma-focused therapies including EMDR and the Flash Technique. She also offers parent support through an attachment-based lens. Michelle also meets the standards as a CRPO Clinical Supervisor.
